Characters I want to return in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Like I said at the end of my last post I would make a list of the characters I want to return in MvCI.

Again the characters are in no specific order, but unlike last time I'm not doing a set number I'm just gonna mention all the characters I want to return. Also for this list I'm not going to worry about the whole 20th Century FOX thing that is going on with the mutant characters.

Spider-Man(Marvel)

Spidey is Marvel's mascot and I'm not worried at all about him not making it into this game, especially with Spider-Man: Homecoming out later this year. Costume wise I hope they just stick to his normal costume, and some alternate costumes like the Symbiote, Superior Spider-Man, Scarlet-Spider, etc, and not his Marvel Cinematic Universe costume.

Jill Valentine(Capcom)

I put Jill here just because she's one of my favourite Resident Evil characters. Hopefully they make it Resident Evil 1 Jill like in MvC2 and not Resident Evil 5 Jill, like in UMvC3.

X-23/Wolverine(Marvel)

So I'd like to see X-23 make a return in MvCI, but under her current alias as Wolverine. In the comics she has recently taken up the mantle of Wolverine when Logan died. This most likely won't happen since the average Joe probably doesn’t know that Logan is dead, and the X-23 has replaced him as Wolverine. Her move set could be a mix between her's and Wolverine's from UMvC3, so she has some of the things that made Wolverine, Wolverine, but also keep some of the things that made her different from Wolverine.

Strider(Capcom)

Strider has been a staple character in Marvel vs. Capcom since the beginning, so it was good that Capcom decided to not put him in the original version of MvC3, but they later fixed this by putting him in UMvC3. So lets hope they decide to put him in this game.

Iron Fist(Marvel)

I was pumped when I heard that Iron Fist was going to be in UMvC3 when they were announcing the new characters for that version of the game, so hopefully he can make his way into this one. I wouldn’t be to surprised to see his return either since he is getting his own Netflix series soon.

Dante(Capcom)

It’s fucking Dante, the demon killing, pizza eating badass. He's one of Capcom's most popular characters, and was a fan favourite among UMvC3 players. All his moves are flashy and translate well into a fighting game. So lets hope we can see his return to the series, later this year.

Psylocke(Marvel)

Psylocke is one of my favourite X-Men, and if you ask on the right day I'll tell you she's my favourite. Her first Capcom fighting game appearance was in X-Men: Children of the Atom, and was also a playable character in Marvel Super Heroes, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2, so it would be cool to see the character make a return after her absence from UMvC3.

Felicia(Capcom)

Darkstalkers is my favourite fighting game series, sadky much like Megaman Capcom seems to hate the series and we will probably never see another game in the series, Marvel vs. Capcom is the closest thing we will have to a new Darkstalkers game. Her first appearnce in the vs. series was in MvC2, and she made her way into MvC3.

Omega Red(Marvel)

Let us continue the trend of putting those X-Men characters in here. X-Men characters have always been awesome in these games and I hope we can see some of them return to the series. I also haven't mentioned ant grappling characters so here you that’s one for the boards!

Ruby Heart(Capcom)

Ruby Heart was a character that only appeared in MvC2, and I loved her design and I would love to see her make a return in this game. Not sure if you noticed but I want most of these characters to make a return because I think they look cool, but the jokes on you it's my list I don’t care, I'll do what I want.

Taskmaster(Marvel)

Taskmaster is my favourite Marvel Villain of all time. For those that don't know he basically has a super photographic memory which lets him replicate anything he see's. When I saw him show up in MvC3 I had to put him on my team. I found his combos fun to pull off, and easy to learn. He's a character I find doesn’t get used enough, and I would greatly appreciate his return.

Amingo(Capcom)

Like Ruby Heart, Amingo only made an appearance in MvC2. I want this guy in here primarily because he looks lame, but in a good way, and it would be nice to see a joke character in this game. It’s very unlikely that he will make a return but we can all hope, that one day we can see this glorious cactus man make a return.

Dr.Doom(Marvel)

Doom has been one of the most popular MvC characters since MvC2, with his cool combos, and badass look. It would be awesome to see his return, but like the X-Men characters 20th Century FOX owns the rights to those characters so let's hope we can see him foot-dive one last time, if not then he will forever live on in our hearts.

So basically I'm just tired of writing this so I'm gonna stop there, I'll probably add more to the list as time goes on but until then I'm finished.

10 Characters I want in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (5 Capcom/5 Marvel)

So with Marvel vs. Capcom coming out in late 2017 everybody is guessing what characters will make their return and what characters will make their triumphant debut in the game like Captain Marvel, and X from Mega Man.

This list will be the characters I would like to see make their debut, if there is anybody who cares out there and reads this I will be doing a list of the characters I wish to return to the series.

I’ll start with the Capcom side, I love Capcom and their games but I like Comics more so I’ll save the best for last.

!!!NOTE THESE ARE IN NO SPECIFIC ORDER!!!

Capcom

1) Edward Falcon, Power Stone - Now this probably isn’t a surprise seeing how most people would love to see Edward make his way into a versus game. His move set would be based off his moves in power stone and his Lvl.3 could be him putting on his armor, allowing him to deal more damage, and some extra moves, and then his other supers could revolve around the suit but him not keeping it on.

2) The Hunter, Monster Hunter – So I know that one of the producers of the MH series has said that he doesn’t want any of his characters in any of the other Capcom games, but I’d love to see The Hunter in a fighting game. His various costumes could be different armor sets, his default being the Lagiacrus set from Monster Hunter 3. He would be either a stance character having different weapons for different stances, or he would be similar to Chris from UMvC3 with his specials being various weapons he uses within the game. One of his moves could be he sets one of the different traps within the games, making him a setup character as well. His Lvl.3 he could call in Cha-Cha, and Kayamba and activate some kind a cinematic similar to Dooms where he sits in his throne in UMvC3.

3) Tiffany Lords, Project Justice/Rival Schools – I… Umm… just really like this characters design for ahh… the titular aspects. But in all seriousness, I have never played one her titles before so I’m not sure how the character feels or plays like, but I think she is an interesting looking character and in a game where you’re going up against some of the coolest Comic Book characters of all time you need to have style.

4) Cosmi, Under The Skin - I’ve never actually played the full game but back in the day of Playstation magazine I got a demo disc for the PS2 with the demo for this game on it, and I can recall really enjoying the shit out of it, I didn’t know what the objective was completely but I enjoyed running around as the little guy, taking the form of the humans around the level and throwing various objects around to try and combat the other Aliens. Then for one of his supers he could take the form o whatever opponent he was currently fighting similar to Twelves X-Copy super in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, for those of you who played that game. Only problems with this character is that I don’t think anybody remembers this game but me, so the character isn’t very popular.

5) Cody, Final Fight/Street Fighter Series - I love the Final Fight, and Street Fighter games, and I would love to see Cody get more screen time, since Capcom doesn’t seem to want to make a new Final Fight after the pile of garbage Final Fight: Streetwise. I would want his look to be based off of the first Final Fight and not his Street Fighter Appearances, where he’s in a normal white T-Shirt and blue jeans, was never a big fan of his jumpsuit and the handcuffs.

Marvel

1) Luke Cage, Power Man/Defenders/Avengers/Heroes For Hire – With Luke Cage as Marvel’s most recent Marvel Netflix series this makes sense to me on the promotional side of things, and hopefully Iron Fist makes a return you can have the Heroes For Hire as a team, since the game is going to be a 2v2 game similar to the earlier entries in the series. I would love for his default costume to be his original costume with the yellow puffy shirt, and tiara but sadly it will most likely be his new costume to fit the rest of the current Marvel characters(Lets hope for some good DLC costumes please Capcom). His move set would revolve around command throws, and heavy hitting punches. He should have 3 different types of command throws similar to Super Skrulls in UMvC3. i.e. L = Up close, M = Mid Screen, H = Anti-Air. Now that is this game is a four button fighting game. Then have his Special button Command throw be a more traditional throw.

2) Union Jack, Invaders – Union Jack is a character I’ve always been a fan of, his design is kick ass, and again like I said with Tiffany, in a game full of awesome characters you have to look cool to make yourself stand out. Have his move set utilize his knife and revolver, being more of a technical character.

3) Hobgoblin/Green Goblin, Spider-Man Series – Really you could have either Goblin in the game just have one be an alternate costume for the other. He would rely heavily on his pumpkin bombs, and like many of the characters with flight abilities in UMvC3 he would have a move that allows him to fly and throw pumpkin bombs freely.

4) Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man/Spider-Gwen – Spider-Gwen has become one of Marvel’s most popular characters, even spawning a spin-off character Gwen-Pool. The thing is it would be difficult to make her feel too similar to Spider-Man, he hasn’t been announced yet for the game but I don’t doubt he’ll be in it with Homecoming coming out later this year.

5) Medusa, InHumans/Fantastic 4 – With an InHumans Movie/TV series on the horizon she would be a cool character to put in since her main super power is that she can manipulate her hair, similar to Sindel from the Mortal Kombat games for those who don’t know who she is. I can see her controlling like Rogue from the earlier vs. titles, but with ranged command throws similar to Super Skrull for UMvC3(Refer back to Luke Cage).
